Information accessed

With the account owner's authorization, the assistant can read Gmail messages, threads, drafts and labels; Google Calendar events; Drive file information and accessible files; and Google Docs content. Basic Google account information identifies the authorized account. Access is limited to the permissions the owner grants.

How information is used

Google data is used to carry out the owner's requests, such as finding an email, summarizing a document, or reviewing upcoming events. The current integration requests read-only access and does not send messages or modify Google content.

AI processing and communication

Relevant content retrieved for a request may be sent to the AI provider configured for the assistant or a specialist the owner asks to use. The setup uses OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google model services. Responses delivered through WhatsApp pass through WhatsApp's service. These services process and may retain submitted content under their applicable terms and account settings.

The operator does not sell Google data, use it for advertising, or use it to develop or train generalized AI models. Google data is not made available to other family assistant accounts. The operator's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and retention

OAuth credentials are stored using the macOS Keychain. Assistant conversations, retrieved excerpts, and relevant operational records may be retained on the owner's computer and in owner-managed backups. They remain until the owner deletes them or replaces the relevant records or backups. Provider-side retention depends on the provider and account settings. This integration does not promise automatic deletion after a fixed period.

Access controls

The Google connection is restricted to the owner's administrator assistant. Read-only OAuth permissions and runtime restrictions limit Google operations. No security measure eliminates every risk.

Revoking access and deleting data

The owner can revoke this app's access from Google Account connections. Revocation prevents future authorized access but does not erase content already retained in conversations, backups, or provider systems. The owner can remove local credentials and records and use each provider's available deletion controls.
